06/05/2026 – Application Deadline

  • Last day to apply for Summer undergraduate degree, professional degree or certificate without late fee.

07/31/2026 - Last day of Instruction

  • Last day to apply for Summer undergraduate degree, professional degree or certificate with $75 late fee.

  • Deadline to complete Graduation Information Verification

    • Last day to submit name change for Summer Diploma and Transcript.

    • Last day to add/update Diploma Address for Summer Diploma

08/01/2026 – Graduation Date

  • Graduation date that will appear on Diploma & Transcript for Summer.

  • Commencement Ceremony not offered in Summer

08/05/2026 – Final Grades Submitted

  • Final grades post to WSU Transcript

08/05/2026 through 09/04/2026 – Degree Conferral

  • Degrees post to WSU transcript

08/10/2026 through 09/2026 – Diplomas Mailed

  • Diplomas for Summer Graduates are mailed

    • Diplomas mail within 2-3 weeks after degree posts to WSU Transcript.

08/28/2026

  • Last day to apply for Summer undergraduate degree, professional degree or certificate. $150 late fee applies

  • Last day to submit a Graduation Date Change for Summer graduation.

09/04/2026 – Last date for degree and certificate conferral.

  • Closing date for Summer graduating class.

  • Please note that departments may have their own deadlines in order to meet the degree conferral cutoff.

  • Students whose degrees have not been awarded for Summer by this date will be moved to inactive status and will be notified they did not graduate and how to proceed.
