Degrees & Diplomas

Washington State University contracts with an authorized third-party vendor, Michael Sutter Company, to print and mail diplomas and certificates. Diplomas and certificates are ordered every Friday during the conferral period after the degree has posted and/or all holds have been resolved. Students receive them in approximately four to six weeks. For students living overseas, delivery time will be longer.

When diplomas ship from Michael Sutter, students receive a WSU Email notification indicating the mailing date and address and the option to order an eDiploma. All financial and other obligations must be cleared to receive a diploma and to order an eDiploma.

If you are ordering a diploma reprint or an eDiploma from Michael Sutter Company, please remember when logging in to type out your nine-digit student ID with a zero as the first digit, and to include your last name that is on record with WSU.
