Diplomas & Certificates WSU Graduations

Diplomas & Certificates

Washington State University contracts with an authorized third-party vendor, Michael Sutter Company, to print and mail diplomas and certificates.  Diplomas are mailed to students approximately two to three weeks after the degree has been posted and/or all holds have been resolved. When diplomas ship from Michael Sutter, students receive a notification to their WSU Email indicating the mailing date and address and the option to order an eDiploma.  All financial and other obligations must be cleared to receive a diploma and to order an eDiploma.

Diploma Appearance

  • Degrees are printed with the student Name, Degree, Graduation Date and GPA Honors if applicable.
  • Major, Minors, and HONORS College are not included on the diploma but are indicated on the transcript.
  • Graduates earning more than one degree will receive separate diplomas for each.
  • Diplomas measure 14 x 11 inches while certificates measure 8.5 x 11 inches.
